I'm a mom to an adorably rambunctious little boy (aka the Munchkin) who just recently finished treatment for Leukemia. During his (2 year!) treatment, funds were tight, but I tried to make sure the fun wasn't.

We've wandered all over the beautiful state of New Hampshire, in search of new hiking trails, waterfalls, and fun things to do. This time spent wandering has made me a bit of an expert on kid-friendly places to visit, for free - or very cheap! We love the outdoors, and learning new things about nature and animals, which most of our travels include.

I started this blog because I'm

 originally from Massachusetts, and I found it very frustrating to keep finding new places to explore, but needing to check tons of different websites for new ideas and tips. I've designed this blog as a one-stop-shop for unique, low-cost places to visit with your children. I hope you enjoy it!
